What is Zoom in on Girls?

Zoom in on Girls are regional gatherings that unite Girls Action’s National Network members, organizations and individuals who work with girls and young women, for a day of learning, sharing and celebration. The Zoom events focus on issues related to girls and young women, and aim to support and strengthen action strategies, networking, and the exchange of skills and resources from a regional perspective.

Happening simultaneously with the young women’s Meet-Ups, these events will merge and culminate with an evening of intergenerational networking, sharing and fun.

The gatherings’ objectives are to:

   * Create a space to exchange and to be inspired by each others’ experiences
    * Network with other girls’ programmers in your region
    * Share successes and resources
    * Gain new tools and knowledge
    * Develop strategies to tackle the issues faced by girls and young women
    * Celebrate our work

Locations for Zoom in on Girls 2011:

Toronto, ON: April 29th...... deadline to register March 25th (View attachment below for full programme)

Vancouver, BC: May 13th..... deadline to register April 1st

Montreal, QC: May 27th..... deadline to register April 21st
